Barbra Streisand嗓音特殊，即使是錄音版專輯，聽眾就像聆聽現場演唱般，每次聽都會在每個轉音裡得到另一股不同的幻想光景，清亮、高亢動人的嗓音與完美熟練的詮釋技巧，Barbra唱出了一首首動人的成人式情歌，由舞台劇到電影、由電影再到演唱界與電視圈，Barbra是少數能在戲劇與音樂方面皆有成就的雙棲藝人之一，更是唯一能在演唱歲月中都有專輯奪得排行冠軍的超級巨星，這也讓她成為保持顛峰狀態最長久的藝人。

Barbra Streisand在台的專輯音樂不下十數張，我的資本不夠雄厚，僅能意思意思購買其中幾張音樂CD，這張在1979年發表的精選輯『Greatest Hits Volume II』，有沉重、哀傷的曲風，也有略帶慵懶、俏皮的旋律，是我挺愛放來當背景音樂的專輯之一。

有些精選輯收錄得很勉強，專輯佳、精選輯卻大雜燴到買了都覺得浪費錢的大有人在，這張專輯的選歌倒是還滿適當，收錄的部份歌曲仍可在《芭芭拉史翠珊‧世紀典藏》專輯內找到，可惜也有部份歌曲隨著絕版CD一同埋藏於過往、而成了遺珠之憾，例如我最喜歡的《Superman》。
